If you listen carefully ......

....you may hear a little whisper on the wind.

You know when you have a little secret, and every time you think about it your stomach tightens, your fingers tingle, and you can't resist a little smile?

Good stuff is happening all around me and now I have my own little bit of news. Tell you? No, not yet, but a certain broomstick rider is off on a little trip and I can hardly wait.

I like to call this one 'Pond weed eating my gate'. Don't think I'll win any prizes, do you?

It looks lovely! I love how bright the green is against the rest of the picture.
Be sure to pack extra brimstone so your broom doesn't run out of fuel...
And a good witch never travels without her familiar!

I love that shot of the gate - where one wonders, might it lead - work with me here, Minx... Doorways to other worlds where broomsticks might take on new life, p'haps...

traveling?

i'd recommend a silk bag, small enough to tuck next to your heart to capture all those moments you wish to savour later and to take with you all the love you have here ....

as we say in the south, minxy:

travelin' mercies, sistah ...

Ooh secrets... I love secrets too. Anyway, back to winning prizes; I'm sure you could win one for having that amount of pond weed. ; )

I was just going make a quip about a prize for my overgrown bush - glad I didn't!

I'll say to you what I do to my husband
"Don't tease, unless you aim to please"

I really like the gate, the soft springy intense green grass (weedy thingy), the lines of the gate, and the russet and rust, against the beautiful stone. Things that are solid through time, things that rust and age with weather, little green things that come up a new, flexible, growing.

I love the photos, the moon is one of my favorite celestial objects. So entrancing.

I liked these. Thanks!

I shall have to keep it for a little while, Scarlett. There is no fun in dangling a carrot that you can eat straight away.

Purple really is a lovely colour, you know......

Debi said...

Oh - I'm here, your royal purpleness. Have I missed anything?

Wanderlust Scarlett said...

Is it something to do with your book?

A second purple edition purhaps?

hmmmm....

WHAT could it BE?!!?!!?

...oh! suspense is awfully exciting.
