Wake up - this is important!

A little while ago I was invited to join a forum for bloggers with book deals. This forum has since grown and now has now become a brand new public site.

Welcome to

Bookarazzi

Please pop over and have a look. If you write, read, or have an interest in how a writer does things then this site could be really useful. Filled with writerish links, resources and author bios, this site also has an open blog for all those questions that might be bugging you!
Look out for some familiar names as well, you'll find Debi Alper lurking in there somewhere!

pee ess - If you get the page that says 'Bookarazzi coming soon just click on refresh and there she blows.

Sorry, I just wanted to be first.

Is this a childhood thing? We can talk about it, if you like.

But if you don't, John, then please give some feedback on the spanky new site. Fab isn't it, although 50 writing ego's all holed up in a small space might be a problem!

True, it does see at first glance that there might be some jostling, but there's really no reason to expect it to be a problem. A little friendly competition isn't a bad thing. Likely, it'll be a place to go to reliably find something good to read, and, more importantly, to be surpised. I've bookmarked it, of course. And congratulations.

Lurk? LURK? I'll have you know, I have never lurked in me life.

Seriously though folks and folkesses, check out Bookarazzi. 'Tis a wondrous addition to literary mega-cooldom.

Jostle...isn't that a good word? Jostle, jostle...roll it around a bit...

Interesting site!

Sorry, Debi, I herewith rescind the word 'lurk'. Will 'loiter' do?

Cailleach - I think will be a great resource for nearly published people!!

Jon, for you as well, there should be some sound advice from authors who have managed to squeeze past the The Gatekeepers and got their books to paper.

Apart from that, there should be some interesting articles on the publishing/editing/writing business There is already a section on 'how I got published' and yes, my whirlwind experience will be in there at some point - heh!

Took a look, very cool.

look forward to it!

It is not often I get excited about something (that's a lie) but this really looks as if it will be a huge resource. The site has had mega hits today so thanks all, if you managed to pop in.

Loiter with intent? Yeah, think I can handle that one.

Do you need a licence for this kind of loit? My loitering is usually unintentional and comes from a pressing need to avoid the ironing.

Why am I the only one with a degree in ironing in my house?

Explain 'ironing'.

I am surprised I was not invited to join as I have a writing deal - at the moment it is welfare to work benefits explained... I don't think I should go into anymore details unless one of you tries to steal my gig...

Debi, you use that thing that looks like a surfboard on legs - I fooled the Feckers for a while.....

Great plot, Mut!
