Happy Easter

.
Have a good weekend. I am going camping - yes, that's what I said.

There are some interviews below to keep you amused.

Have a great time, and look out for those spiders!

Why?

Because I have a need to be woken at dawn by screaming birds, a desire to walk two miles for a shower and an overwhelming yen to sit outside until I freeze solid.

At the moment I just want to sit down with a thick book and a steaming cup of something that stays hot. I will rally myself in the morning.

It's awfully early to camp where I'm at. I'd freeze my ass off.

How rugged(?) of a camper are you?

Lucky you camping in Cornwall. Presumably Cornwall?
The Lizard, Roseland, Zennor...just those names bring about some MaGIc!

Ok Minx having pondered on this all weekend I am still left asking myself WHY? And more to the point how did I get talked into to going camping with 30 kids in June? I had a nightmare this morning, based on all your words, especially the screaming birds bit!!

Trust you do not have frost bite Ms M!

What were those bunnies doing? And am I to infer that Easter is a time for cruelty to chocolate bunnies? Shame on you all! And no, I don't even want to know what you do to eggs! Ba-kaaaaak!

Camping...? Are you mad?

Seriously though, enjoy nature's treats and hope the weather stays clement for you and yours!

Hellloooo. Coooeee. Anyone there? No? So this is an abandoned blog then. Great. Must dash off and gather the party faithful.

Hang on a mo. What's this in the corner? A hamper? With a bottle of gin, some trail mix, some of those Japanese rice snacky things and a selection of organic chocolate?

And a note.

'Dear all, Enjoy the goodies and then bugger off. You are not, repeat not, to party on my blog in my absence. Love Minx xxx'

Damn. The search for the ultimate party venue continues ...

Did you say Japanese rice crackers Debi? And Gin and organic chocolate? I hope you left me some?

Unknown said...

Phew, I'm back, barely alive and looking for me best gin.

Oh I did, I have been horizontal the whole time! Got out of bed, put chair in sun, sat for rest of day with good book. Very lazy, lazy me.

I don't imagine that you were ever a scout, Beast, or a boy, come to that!

Umm, not rugged at all, bit of a pussy really. I like a bed at least twelve inches off the ground, a kettle, microwave and central heating - not really camping I suppose, but there is grass and stuff.

No Jan, we have been all the way to England!

I know, tis all a bit strange to me as well. We have been camping since the feckers were small - just can't seem to stop. The whole family does it!

30 kids - you are mad. I tend to take just two and then put them at the other end of the field where they can't disturb me!

I tried, but the heating was working.

The bunnies were all safe but if I had got me hands on that fucking woodpecker.....

Hah! So where are the faithful then? Worshipping at the altar of Chocolate Egg no doubt, and too fat to move!
Better luck next time Alper, when are you on holiday again?

You've been away too long, honey. 10 consecutive comments from yourself on your own blog???

What can I say Debi, four days is a long time?
