Bloody hell I don't read very well. I read you won and then wondered: I wonder which one she wrote? And then re read the post. I voted you first too. So double congrats cos you came first with me too! He he!
Minx, I am all misty eyed for you! Well done. This was a wonderful entry - a bit of a warning that we shouldn't do anything in life ... just stay at home and not wonder "what if". NOT! :)
Now, Minxie, you really ought to publish the story on your blog and get it out there for more to read! This is wonderful and it should at least be printed on your own blog, no?
I am printing mine on my blog - heck, I got an honourable mention -but then, yes, I am SHAMELESS!
Minx: Congratulations on your prize-winning and what-not. I didn't even know there was a contest going on over there until the last minute, so I couldn't enter myself.
Otherwise, I'd have been a shoe-in for Maht's Choice.
Ignore Shameless. Posting your story on your own site will only keep people from clicking on the wonderful, engaging and wickedly bright Moon Topples blog.
Wait. What? Logged in? So they can see who I...?
Nevermind. Enjoy your "Golden Fonzie," as Micah and I have taken to calling the badges.
Saaleha said it twice so does that mean I don't need to say it once?
Mega congrats, babe. I know this really good book you should buy with your prize. It's called Coven of One ... You'll read it and think if only you had written something so wonderful ....
Blogger is clearly pre menstrual. She ignores her when you need her to listen and listens a second time, forgetting that she has just done so. I've removed the duplication. BUt hey, at least it showed my sincerity
Thanks P and A. I only started writing short stories a while ago and have found that I now quite like them! They don't compare with getting your teeth into a novel (working on Natural Magick at present - a sequel to Coven) but there is enormous satisfaction in rattling a whole piece off in an afternoon!

Congrats on the epic win and the funny money.
I remember when I read your story the first time, of many, that If we all thought way, we would never get out of bed. :)
But we do, if only to write.
Congratulations, Minx, but spend it fast, before the new notes come out. Same whack design, but printed in Mandarin.
I think the funny money is coming in Amazon-ian dollars. A new book then. But what?
Yeah, well done Minx. Got any ideas of what you're going to spend it on yet?

Thanks V, so cool!

Congratulations minx. Well deserved, I am sure. I have not read the entry, but will make a point of doing so real soon.

I think this maybe my 'Gwyneth' moment - hand me a tissue and I'll give it to Shameless.
Thankyouverymuch - I enjoyed writing this one - so much easier when the theme is tasty. I will post it up on Little Minx in a while.
Congrats Kate! Let me guess. Bottle of Scotch? ;)
One of these days I'm going to have to enter a contest and beat your socks off!

And I appreciated your sincerity, Saaleha, twice over!
Roberta, pistols at dawn, stripey socks at the ready - bring it on!
Well done, Minx. It couldn't happen to a nicer witch.
Oooh, Blogger is one sick puppy....
