Weight

A weighty weight
of polished sand,
sits upon
my thoughtful hand.
The light refracts,
slips and slides
distorting bubbles
deep inside.
No fairy liquid,
or snowfall shakes,
just a coloured sphere
that paper waits.

Thanks, Roberta, just letting you know I'm still alive.

Glad to know you are still alive. :)

Writing and alive. Is that not a little death?

Get back to work!

Coming from someone [me] who is not literary, that was very pretty & gave me pause to ponder the weight of the universe in my hand.
