Yule

Happy winter solstice.
.
May your log burn brightly until the return of the sun

... and if light turned to darkness,
stars faded one by one,
if all twas dark and quiet,
you would be my private sun.

I do like that verse. Thank you, Minx.
The string of lights on the mantel are very intriguing. I might want some of those...would have to go shopping...

And there was I considering lowering the tone by saying something about logs burning brightly and their connection with ... er ... possible stomach upsets from over indulgence, but I don't think I will now ...

Happy solstice, magickal friend.

Happy Winter Solstice to you, Minx.

Love the poem, plan on carrying its refrain around with me awhile.

Consider Cornwall hugged, Jan. Tell me when you're down again and I'll out the kettle on.

Seasoned greets back, Master Mut.

Thank you, Taff, love and light returned. The poem is part of a larger piece - glad you liked.

Hi Minxie

Lovely! I went to a great winter solstice party last night. What a perfect excuse to light candles.
