I am not enjoying a post Bordeaux low.

It is all right Debi. I am hunged over, not deaf.

John G - I am up but soon to be down again, I fear.....

These things are sent to try us Lucien, dear.
Hairy dogs do not always bring the relief one intends either. I am locked in apres gin hell and am thinking of ending it all with a White Lightning or a Snakebite taken with a straw.

Can I sue paracetamol? They have lied.

A friend of mine, when we were younger used to drink Pils/ Diamond White snakebites. Albeit not many of them!!

Oh dear are you up yet? I don't know why I'm grinning at your over indulgence as if I've never been there before! And Diamond White, bloody hell that brings back memories. Not nice ones, but memories all the same.
And well done to the small fecker.

I'm sending you a tall cold glass of Gin and Tonic. Hair of the dog, as it were. And I'm speaking very loudly!

Yey!!! Small Fecker! We are very proud of you!

I am looking at a G&T with new eyes today, Roberta.
And look, the clocks have gone forward and you know what that means....nearly time for Pims.

I ordered a Pims while in London last fall. I wonder if they taste better when served without a contemptuous sneer?

Ooh Minx, you haven't been drinking the right potions! I still think there's a gap in technology between your lot and the voodoo practitioners.

I fear that you have a hangover Ms Minx - it is induced by the bad humours and other mystery ingredients in the Gin. You should stick to locally produced ales such as Old Lesbian No.6, Scroggitys Ratcatcher and such

Could a Pimms be served in any other way, MT? The added sneer and sniff adds to the ambient viscosity of the Pimmish fruity bits.

Mr Bananas, I had potions forced, I tell you, forced upon my person that were not mine in the making. They made tailcocks with my beautiful Bombay Sapphire - they will not be forgiven.

Mutley, I have long moved past Old Lesbian No 6. My indulgence of late has been Tosspots Murderous Slagheap with a Cinzano chaser. Tosser, as we locals call it, has been brewed in Cornwall for 200 years using tin mining waste and iron fillings. It was a useful brew as it also ran the pumps and cleaned equipment at the end of the day.

What interesting brews you have in Cornwall, minxie... I hope yer head don't 'urt as much this aver!

But that's what 4x is for... remember that?

I do sympathise on the oul G&T front, my problem is that they're way too easy to drink.

And well done to small fecker too!

Gin. Such a lovely gentle little word, isn't it?!

Tis a word of power, Jan. Couple it up with 'and tonic' and you have something that will take the strongest woman down (well, not so much down, more reclining).
