Here I sit with natural black
obsidian, polished, to find the lack, for
one who doubts her glowing presence
reminding us in opalescence
all is never as it seems and
life is naught but solid dreams
This schoolroom, where we choose to be
(contracts signed, souls are free)
making choices, those are ours
lit by moonlight, sunlight, stars
guided by the gentle hand,
a musing Goddess with a plan
Written deep, the orb above
a message of enduring love
for you and I to try and reach
So while you wander sans la lune
I will endeavor to try to teach,
the art of
"Drawing down the Moon"
.

Oh I like this. I'm trying to think of something more profound to say, but eh no, I like this.
I'm with V. It's beautiful but I'm beyond profound words at present. I think I will just wait for the next full moon and practice my howling.
Tis enough - thank you.
(Alper is on the beach (again), she and her lovely family leave on the moro - I think I shall cry)
BEAUTIFUL!!
Oh... sigh.
Food for my soul, lady. So very good. Thank you, humbly.
I LOVED 'while you wander sans la lune'...
She does disappear sometimes. Am I lost without her? Maybe so.
Thanks for bringing her back.
Love the pic too... started humming... 'there's a moon out tonight... la la la la... let's go strollin'
Couple of full moons there.

ps... safe travels for Debi & family.
S. & V.
Oh Minx, that wasn't long enough was it! Guess you'll have to go and visit London now.
Very nice.
Yep, you've got a lovey sadness in this one Minx. Nice work.
I am sad - Debi is gone. Someone hand me a tissue.
Here, have a box of tissue, and some of the chickens chocolates.
I'm sure Atyllah will share.
You'll feel better soon.
And have a bit of red wine to go with the spicy chocolate.

Oh poor you Minx - here's my shoulder, have a sob on there too.
Thank goodness she is gone!! I was getting fed up living in the shed... can I come back now please ... I have a cold and my arthritis hurts...and I have not eaten hot food for four days..
Chicken chocolates? Will they make me feel better? Heh.
And thanks, all shoulders are welcome.
Sorry, Mutley, more guests (ahem) expected tomorrow. Another week in the shed should do it. I'll give you an extra blanket and put your dog food in the microwave. Now stop moaning, there's a good boy.
Loved the rhythm; I can see the piece being read on stage with a ballerina in the background doing an interpretative number. ^_^
Cheers. Thanks, by the way, for dropping by my site.
Nice image, Souless, thanks.
Wow, great poem, i like the way you use complex words and make them sound easy, also the fairy has the roundest bottom in existence really!! ;)
