Once more unto the breach dear friends, once more....

... But when the blast of war blows in our ears
Then imitate the action of the tiger
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood
Make sandwichs to forestall the hunger of the troops
Iron the clothing of war
Set thy alarm clock
And for fuck's sake get to work on time!

(After five-and-a-half weeks holiday of slobbing about in a state of general undress, blogging into the wee small hours and drinking to excess, I am back to work on the moro. Don't feel sorry for me - the next one takes place in exactly six weeks, thirty-three minutes and twelve seconds. Not that I'm counting or anything!)

Having problems figuring out comments...too stupid for words (me, I mean)

HOW COME SKINT CAN DO IT AND I CAN'T?!! NO FAIR!! This is Susan, I tried the Google/Blogger thingie, then the 'other' thingie, now I'm moving on to 'anonymous'. Still can't make it work!

Just in case somebody else is having trouble like I had...

I ended up signing in using my gmail account i.d. and the password for it. That was the only way I was allowed to comment.

Who cares Skint, the cat is obviously a very, very happy cat, know what I mean??

And Susan, sign in as 'other' then add name and web page, instructions in comments on previous post. Hope they sort this out soon!!

And the googlepuss has an avocado on its head, looks much more like lime/grapefruit to me! Tried it with Owen and a satsuma skin, but he wouldn't play!

So it's just not me. I find that reassuring.

Blooming hell Minx that was very restrained of you. I started moaning last week. Still the little 'uns come back on Wednesday so so far I have managed to do VERY little work. Do you think anyone will notice?

Soul sister Clare? Luckily I need very little sleep, (about four to five hours a night), so the only change I have make in going back to work, is putting some clothes on and dropping the weeknight vino!!

I try not to moan V. Work is a necessary evil but I know that I am lucky to have the school holidays.
No kids until tomorrow so I have spent the day trying to source some paper. All willbe fine when I've managed to steal some paints to go with it! That's education for you!

Tell me you didn't do that to that poor cat, Minx! He looks like a kamikaze kitty!
Good luck with the return to work, hope holiday bliss lasts longer for you than the usual few hours it seems to last with me.

No Atyllah, not responsible for funny cat hat. What holiday was that then?

CFR - was woken up not by alarm bells but by Big Fecker using my hair dryer!
First day at college, it won't last!
