Gardening

What me!

A new story up on Little Minx.

It was inspired by a post I made a little while ago about the burials in our front garden. It won first prize in local competition with the theme of 'Gardening' but I suspect they were hoping for stories about petunias (that is a flower right?) .

It's a lovely story, Minx! You could compile a lot of what you write into a book called 'Respect' because I see a lot of it in your writing - respect for your children, animals, human foibles. Your writing makes a reader genuinely like you.

You two are both lights in my life.
And both very perceptive people. (I daren't say "women" given that ding dong going on over at Debi Alper!)

I love it, Minx! You know how hard it is for me to read anything other than bite-sized posts - I've confessed before about my dimensionally-challeneged attention span - but it was such a beautiful story, full of compassion and love and so well written that it drew me in. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Joyous solstice, Minx. I made an offering this morning, an old knife left by my Dad. You were in my prayers.
